The sun glistened off the chestnut coat of Symbol. Her forehead bore a bright white star, and her hind legs sported two identical white socks. Her mane was short, but her tail long and flowing, their threads matching the color of her body. She was tall and sixteen hands, and stocky with sturdy legs and a strong neck. Her body was a long and relatively stream-lined. She was young and full of life. And she was taking it out on the pool around the waterfall.
Her sturdy legs carried her noisily through the water, propelling her forward, ripples spanning out behind her. Her mane and tail were sticking wetly against her neck and rear end, her coat was darker around her stomach and legs from the water. Gleeful giggles were escaping the five year-old's grayish maw as she pawed at the water. What great fun this was! Symbol figured she was never too old for water games and took every chance she could get to play. The roar of the waterfall and the sounds of her own play and laughter simply lifted her spirits, her dark brown eyes glistening. She wondered if any other equine would come around to join her.

lengthy towers pulled my large, grullo bodice foreward. my ice blue opitcs stared forth, invisible brows furrowed, a mask of permanent frustration painting my rather handsome features. i was on the prowl for equines to join espada. if i were to have a succesful terra, i would need them. i flicked my carbon whip-crod across my hindquarters, gray daggers pressing into the dirt with each step. from here, i could hear the waterfall and that was my destination. with summer came heat, with heat came thirst. thirst would draw equines to the waterfall like flies. a perfect place from me to work my magic and suck in members. the sound of laughter ripped through my audlits, and i stopped, eyes narrowing. as i listened more carefully, i could hear splashing in the water, and more laughter. perfect. i thought, a devilish grin pulling my dark mug up off my ivories.
as i stepped into the clearing where the waterfall towered over the trees, my icy-blue pools landed on a sorrel fae, laughing and splashing in the water. i wiped the harsh look off of my face, seeming calm and rather docile. i lowered my head so i didn't look so damn big and made my way down to the bank. i continued to watch the female closely, but took my eyes away as i drank slowly from the river. the water was fresh and rather cold. it felt good running down my throat. i rose my exquisetly shaped skull and looked at the mare, tilting my head slightly. having fun? i questioned, my tone seeming sweet. oh, how heartbreaking it would be when i turned around and showed my true personality to the pretty little filly. on the inside, i smirked. this would be a very interesting game.

The fae didn't notice the stallion as he approached the edge of the water. she was too busy ducking her pretty head under the crystal ripples and throwing it back up again, water droplets scattering everywhere. His hoof falls were inaudible to her between being either under water or above and having the roar of the falls crash into her ears.
But as she came up and remained still for a moment to catch her breath, her ribs expanding as her lungs filled with warm air, her ears twitched forward at the sound of a voice. Her brown orbs rested on the large brute before her and a gleeful look almost immediately flashed over her face, plastering itself there.
"Heck yea, I'm havin' fun!" She said, splashing right up him and trotting up onto the shore. Without any thought toward the stallion standing so close to her, she lowered her head and shook herself, water droplets flying everywhere. She could be pretty out-going, but was easily taken advantage of and manipulated. She often saw others as more powerful and higher ranking in life in general than she was. Any lead who took control over her would basically have a slave to do their bidding.
Once she was done shaking, she raised her head to look back at him. "Oh! Sorry!" she said, turning around. She'd been standing next to him, just with her head down at his hind end and her hind end at his head. Her mane was flopped in every direction, her tail and slightly tangled mass of wet chestnut and her brown eyes peering up at the stallion. "So what's you're name? I'm Symbol."

i watched her still as she dipped her head into the water and tossed it up, sending crystals everywhere. silly fae, you won't be so happy-go-lucky later. i thought venomously. everyone talked about how sometimes their angel on their right shoulder would argue with the devil on their left shoulder about what was right and what was wrong. i never had that, the angel. the devil aways seemed to be perched right at my ear giving me ideas on how to torture and manipulate others to my advantage and i wouldn't trade it for anything. the tales of darks from other lands made me laugh because they seemed so pansy like. calling themselves darks. why the hell would you ever call yourself that. it seemed idiotic and pointless to me.
when the sorrel vix trotted up to the shore, splashing water everywhere, i nearly had to bite my lip in order not to pin my ears at her. stupid wench needed to pay attention to what she was doing. instead, i threw on a fake gentle smile, my blue eyes sparkling. god, i hated acting like a fruit-cake. it made my skin itch and feel dirty. i hated it now but it would be so much fun in the long run. i chuckled when she shook, again fighting the urge to reach out and bite the little hussy for getting more water on me. oh, sorry! came her high pitched responce that nearly made my eye twitch. since when was an equine so damned annoying? she continued to introduce herself, and now i actually had something to call her by.
nice to meet you, symbol. im grimmjow. i said, my voice smooth like silk and rather seducing. i didn't really have to try and sound that way, it just kind of... happened. ive always been the romancer, the lusty one. the faes who thought they could handle me would always tell me that i was very handsome and such, but they were just a bunch of whores who weren't worth my time in the past. now, i had a new life and it was time to take over.

"Grimmjow, huh? That's such a cool name!" She told him, and excited look on her face. Her dark eyes glistened excitedly at meeting a new friend. Or at least she had labeled him as such, since he was very much the opposite, she just didn't know it yet.
She smiled sweetly, innocently at him. She was completely unaware that she'd splashed him and she couldn't help but think he was a very attractive stallion. Her mind was a bit too immature to think much further than that at the moment. Her ears were pricked toward him, her full attention on him. She was like a little foal in a 5 year old's body. Her muscular neck carried her pretty head well, her strong legs held up her stream-lined body with ease. Now if only she had the mentality to back it all up.
It never once crossed her mind to be cautious around the stallion. She was never really cautious around anything. She always dove head first into everything she did, never thinking about the consequences. For her there was only the present. She rarely though of her past and she never really thought about her future. If she thought about anything it was how pretty that random butterfly was, or she day dreamed about flying as she galloped across the terrain. Definitely a foal at heart.

as i listened to her, i began to notice that she wasn't all there. mentally. it made my brows furrow. such a naive little girl. poor thing would probably die when she found out i wasn't all big, nice, and sweet like i was playing off to be. maybe it was time to end this little game and to really have fun with her. you think so? i spoke, my tone completely changed. the danger and ferocity flowed freely within it, showing its true colors. my optics even changed their look, a more vicious and venomous look gathering in the bright blue pools. i began to walk a tight circle around her small frame, reaching out to nip her hindquarters, not too hard, but hard enough she'd know i was there and it was best not to run. i made a full circle around her before stopping at her head.
didn't you mother even tell you not to talk to strangers? i questioned, tone mocking. a cruel smile fell across my dark mug. i wanted her in my herd, and she would either go calmly, or id drag her in. so darling, you have two choices right now. you come, stay with me in my herd for a while. or, you say no and i drag you in. what'll it be? i questioned, tilting my handsome skull, dark tresses falling over my bright blue eyes.

Symbol's perky ears almost immediately flopped back into a confused and hurt look at his sudden ferocity. Her dark chocolate orbs scanned his face for something to tell her this was a joke. But as he began circling her, she lowered her head, immediately submitting herself to him.
Her head raised suddenly in a squeal as she felt his teeth nip at her hindquarters. She was glad he hadn't really hurt her, but it stung enough to make her fear rise. She lowered her head again quickly, wanting to make it very clear she meant no rebellion against the large stallion.
"M-my mother never told me much of anything...." she said with a shivering voice. "I-I'll come with you. I am yours to command." she said, her previous aura of happiness and energy gone. Her chocolate orbs swerved up to meet his, waiting for his next words.
