Religion look at him, he wanted her to be his lead mare? What would she say? If she said yes she would be his lead and have a place and a rank in a herd. Something important indeed. But if she said no she knew he could be a bad enemy to have and she would have no herd or rank other than mare. And who's to say if she did find another herd that she would win the only high rank for a mare? But if she was his lead where would she live when she was not visiting him? Such a simple question and two simple answers. But so many endings followed. "I'm honored you asked me to be your lead mare, truly," she paused finding her words carefully. "I will gladly be your lead mare . . . I have but one question, Patton" She looked up at him, "If I am not visiting you at Bachelor's Beach, were will I live?" she asked him as she touched his nose again. She had already said yes so it really did not matter where she would be when she was not with him. She felt a cool sigh much like the sun setting. It was as if the world was feeling the same way as herself.

Patton smiled. He now had a true mare with him. But then a wuestion struck his ears. Somewhere, I will figure it out. I will trust a loyal friend...if I have any, to keep you in his herd. If that is, ok with you? Patton asked with a smile. He rubbed his neck against hers and gave her a kiss on the cheek. It's getting late, we should lay down. Patton said already setting down on the shadowed grass. His eyes were gleaming up at his mare. Then he looked away. What stallion would be worthy? Patton said questioning himself

"Of course, Patton" She said smiling as she kissed him back on the cheek. She rested down beside him, she rubbed her head on his shoulder and neck. She closed her eyes as she smiled. She had be alone this morning and now she had a stallion. She would let him think about a herd she could join. She leaned her daker body against his light one. "Good night, Patton " she with a yawn as she cuddled closse to his cream body.
