Personality: This femme is unlike most. She is quiet, stoic, and aloof, preferring to be by herself. She is extremely distrusting, and very few gain her attention. She could care less about most things, and ignores almost everyone. Her thought process is that it is better to be on her own and depend solely on herself, so that she will never be let down. Nyx is very wary of others, and for good reason. Although she tries to hide it, she is almost completely deaf. She cannot hear most sounds, although she can pick up on some things. Mainly, she relies on lip reading when speaking to others. Although she does have this defect, it is surprisingly hard to sneak up on her. This is because she has a heightened sense of awareness, and if another horse gets too close, she gets the feeling that they are there, and can usually detect them. Nyxerin is also very stubborn and rebellious, and she would be a challenge to hold onto for any stallion who tried to get close to her. On the outside, Nyx usually gives off the appearance of boredom, and half the time, she isn't faking it. She has seen a lot in her short life, and very few things impress or surprise her.
History: Nyxerin was born into a herd comprised of all mares, and due to where they lived, they traveled a lot. She went everywhere with the herd, learning how to deal with her hearing disability, and in turn gaining much knowledge. However, as she grew older, Nyx found she was very unlike the other horses, and slowly began receding from the group until she finally left. Now she is very introverted and also a bit pessimistic, along with being mysterious and aloof.
