General Rules

¤ You must respect the staff,members, and even guests!
¤ Only horses are allowed, since this is a horse only rp,disaster animals don't count.
¤ Characters may live until the age of 25, at which point they need to then go.
¤ Out of character fights are forbidden!
¤ One account for all your characters.
¤ Pictures or signature pictures no wider then 500x500 pixels.
¤ Try to read all the announcments and stay very active.
¤ You do not need to wait for your character to be accepted.
¤ Your account will be deleted if you are gone for over two weeks without posting in the away board.
¤ There is no posting minimum, but please, a decent paragraph or two, at least.
¤ The board password is falling.
¤ Two weeks are equal to one season.
¤ All characters age in the spring.
¤ No godmoding or powerplaying.
¤ All pictures MUST have stock credits present and visible on them! We don't want to risk getting in trouble for such a silly mistake.

Stallion Rules


¤ You may challenge for mares or for the fun of it. Foals younger than 1 come with the mares.
¤ Stallions may challenge for a land at age 3.
¤ Only Lead and Beta stallions may claim mares.
¤ Claiming may be done in any land, but force-claiming may only be done in The Withering Meadow. The stallion merely delivers a "claiming nip" to the mare, and she must follow his command and join his herd.
¤ Stallions may claim as many mares or mare/foals a week as they want, but may only steal one mare or mare/foal a week from another stallion.
¤ Colts become stallions when they turn three years old.
¤ Stallions may begin breeding at age three.

Mare Rules


¤ Fillies become mares when they turn three years old.
¤ Mares may begin breeding at age three.
¤ When being fought for, you can speak to the stallions and join the thread if pleased.
¤ You may not leave a herd unless stolen by another stallion, or if your lead stallion allows you to leave.
¤ If fighting for lead mare position, the lead stallion must first okay it.
¤ There is no specific "claiming" board. Mares may be claimed anywhere.

Challenge Rules


¤ All fights are played out in the Flaming Desert.
¤ Each member is only allowed three challenges for land per W-S game year. Whether you use these for the same stallion charrie, or two different ones, is up to you.
¤ Stallions can challenge for mares and land.
¤ Mares can challenge for lead mare position and lone foals only.
¤ Each fighter is allowed to have 3 hits and 1 dodge. All of the attacks may be included in one post, if you'd like. This will make the battles go faster, and not be as daunting on those competing.
¤ No powerplaying! :3
¤ No one can die [unless the member accepts.]
¤ When challenging someone, if they do not reply to your post in three days, you automatically win. [Unless the member is away.] When challenging, you must let the opposing stallion know that you are challenging. It is unfair to post a challenge and just expect them to spot it.
¤ When challenging, you must either post a thread in the stallion's land, or PM the member. They have to know that you are challenging.
¤ The administrators decide who wins. Experience points play a small roll, but the fight is mostly judged by the skill of the roleplayers.
¤ You must have at least 50 posts to challenge for a land.
¤ After a stallion is challenged for his land, he may not be challenged again for one full season. (By anyone)


Stealing Rules


¤ If your mare gets stolen, and you would like her back, you must fight for her in the Flaming Desert.You can never try to steal her back from that same stallion.
¤ For more information pertaining to these challenges, read the challenge rules above.
¤ In depth steal rules located in steal board.

Breeding Rules


¤ Force breeding allowed.
¤ Breeding can occur in any land, but if you want a foal, you must post in the Floating Flower Valley.
¤ Foals turn 1 the Spring after they were born, so one year later. They age like all of the other horses.
¤ Birthing may only take place during spring. Breeding may only take place during summer.
¤ It is possible for a mare to have twins. However, it is very rare. Please do not beg the admins to give you twins. If you do you will be sure to get rejected.
¤ Your character may only breed if it is three years of age or older.
¤ Pregnancies last six real weeks.
¤ All birthing occurs at Purple Fox Hill. Stallions may not be present.
¤ In order to breed, the two horses breeding must have had a thread together. This does not have to be their breeding thread, but they need to at least have met, etc.
¤ When creating your breeding thread, you must include the stats of the mother and father. [Breed, color, and height.]
¤ The admins will post the stats of your foal in your birthing thread.
