Well well. This was his land, huh?
The gold painted fem's head swiveled upon her graceful neck, her light brown eyes taking in the sight before her. It was what she would expect from that devil Grimmjow. Of course he would go after a place like this. It was heavily laden with trees, casting a dark shadow upon the land even on this bright summer day. Of course that jackass would pick a place like this.
With a snort, the dame moved forward, advancing further into his forsaken land. This place was full of rocks to match it's rulers personality. No, she should not be thinking such things of Grimmjow. Truth be told though, Nelliel disliked him. He liked fighting to much. He was so... rough. Harsh. There was no need to treat other equines in that kind of manner. Ulquiorra, on the other hand, was more her type. He was just a tad to... stiff. Yes, that was the word. He was cold, calculating. Nel appreciated that, but there was no need to be so humorless and serious all the time. But she needed to put that aside, for now anyway.
Nel's big topaz eyes focused on an outcropping. Perfect. She quickly lunged up the slope, rocks falling from behind her graceful hooves. Her muscles rippled under her golden pelt, cream banners unfurling behind her. She finally made it to the top, and stood perfectly still for a moment. A golden statue under a lone beam of sunlight. Not to brag, but the mare was a beauty. Many studs had chased after her, but none has succeeded in getting a hold on her. And that was not about to change.
Grimmjow! I know you're here! Come out and greet your old friend! Her beautiful voice rang out across the territory. If the stud had any sense, he would come right away. She was here to join his herd after all.

my deep-blue lids were shut over my more icy orbs as i stood in the crag. the shadows of the trees shaded me from the summer's brutal heat that continued to beat down upon every living thing. my body was physically tired, but mentally, i was perfect awake. the battle with that wench lived went exactly how i had expected it too. she moved in with far too much pride and anger that it got the better of her and my level-headedness destroyed her. a breeze raced through the deep, green lushness of the forest and attacked my tresses, tugging them from my frame and into the air that hovered around it. for now, it was only ulquiorra and myself that resided within espada, but something deep within told me id be getting a visitor from someone i knew rather well. the answer than drifted to my audits, echoing throughout the woods.
my venomous blue gaze snapped open at the voice. nelliel. what in god's name was she doing here? instead of rushing to greet the incredibly gorgeous mare like any normal stallion would, i flicked my tail and walked towards where her scent sat heavily within the atmosphere. well, well, well. nelliel. what brings you here? i questioned, invisible brow raising at the site of her. and why had she come to espada? she didn't like my rash ways, and she found ulquiorra boring and too up-tight while she was bouncy and childish. i stopped at a distance that only friends would stand at. well, not really friends, but aquaintences. we were never really close, but we knew each other well, if that made any sense at all.

The beauty of a mare tossed her head with a snort as she waited. He was taking so long. Her nares could smell the bastard well enough, his scent recent on the summer breeze. He was here, she knew it. He had to be. It was his land, so he should be here to at least protect it. Or have someone here to greet her. She could smell Ulquiorra on the wind too, but not nearly as strongly as Grimmjow. Her hoof dashed upon the ground in annoyance. He should be here by now.
Finally, she saw his grulla fame approach her. About time. her silken voice mumbled. She skid down the rock to stand in front of him. Her light brown orbs looked up at him. Nel had forgotten just how much bigger he was than her. He was about a full 2 hands taller. She shook out her mane, then responded to his question. Well, you know. I had heard that you had acquired some land with Ulquiorra, so I decided to check up on you. Her cream tail swayed, gracing her golden sides.
As her eyes went over him once more, the fem noticed injuries upon his unique tinted hide. Did you get in a fight or something Grimm? her tone was questioning, with a slight hint of worry in it. Not that she really cared much about him, but he was a friend - well, kind of a friend- and she didn't want him hurt. Or anyone hurt for that matter.

GRIMMJOW , i watched the palamino fae with icy blue optics, wondering why she was here. it was odd to see her face, but i would get used to it once more. at her responce to my slow arrival, i rolled my eyes. shut up, nel. i snapped. as she slid down the rock, i had a notion to do something to trip her, but stayed where i was. no need to have a pissy mare in the herd, right? i shook my head. no. ulquiorra had no part in gaining this land. i corrected her sternly. this was my land and my land only. ulquiorra was only one of the highest ranking members. nelliel than asked if i was in a fight and i sighed. yeah cause the stupid bitch thought just because she was nineteen hands high, she could whoop my ass. go find her and ask her what she thinks now. i mumbled.
i wasn't proud of that fight. it made me angry. she had came back even after ulquiorra told her to stop being an idiot and walk away. as i thought about the battle, i seemed to venture off with my eyes, looking past nelliel into another world. i shook my skull, ebony tassels falling around my blue pools. i'll be fine. don't worry about me, nelliel. i told her, taking the weight off the shoulder the vix lived had bitten.
